Original watercolor bird painting: “Swan and its Reflection in Calm Water”

Swans have such a sense of beauty and grace – which makes them as much a joy to paint as they are to behold. This is one of my favorite bird paintings; the calm water reflects the bird’s elegant profile, and the a quiet cloudy sky lends a sense of peace and quiet. This piece of art is a perfect way to bring a feeling of tranquility into your space.

This is an original unmatted and unframed watercolor painting.

Painting measures 8″ X 10″ (20.3 X 24.5 cm) to fit in a standard frame. Image size is approximately 7″ X 9″ (17.8 X 22.9 cm).

It is painted on 140 lb (300 g/m2), acid free, archival quality cold press watercolor paper, using high quality watercolor paints. Painting is finished with a coat of spray varnish.

This piece is signed in the lower right-hand corner on the front, and bears the title, artist’s name and date on back.
