Seashells make beautiful art subjects, and I found the smoothly spiraling moon snail shell a relaxing piece to paint. The delicacy of watercolor makes it a lovely medium for a piece like this one. I think the soft colors of this seashell illustration would be perfect as home decor in a beach cottage – or to make any space feel like one!
This listing is for an original unmatted and unframed watercolor painting.
Painting measures 8″ X 10″ (20.3 X 24.5 cm) to fit in a standard frame.
It is painted on 140 lb (300 g/m2), acid free, archival quality cold press watercolor paper, using high quality watercolor paints. The painting is finished with a coat of spray varnish.
This piece is signed with a monogram and year in the lower right-hand corner, and title, date and artist’s name on back.
