The little barn swallow is such a graceful, agile bird, I couldn’t resist illustrating this one in flight; its long, impressive tail flared behind outstretched wings in an overcast sky. To me, an image like this one conveys a joyful sense of freedom – what could be more wonderful than bringing that feeling into your space with this colorful flying bird painting?
This listing is for an original unmatted and unframed watercolor painting.
Painting measures 8″ X 10″ (20.3 X 24.5 cm) to fit in a standard frame.
It is painted on 140 lb (300 g/m2), acid free, archival quality hot press watercolor paper, using high quality watercolor paints. Painting is finished with a coat of spray varnish.
This piece of art is signed in the lower right-hand corner on the front, and bears the title, artist’s name and date on the back.
