Giclee print of my original botanical painting: Pink Lady’s Slipper

I have always been fascinated with Lady’s Slipper orchids – I love their delicate color and the dramatic shape of the flower nodding on its long stem. This piece was a joy to create and combines the simplicity of a vintage botanical illustration with the bright cheerful color of a spring day! I think this pretty Lady’s Slipper print would be lovely for home or office decor to add little wildflower softness to your bedroom, living room, or work space.

I painted the original watercolor in 2011; this reproduction is an open edition, printed in 2019 (the original has been sold).

This printed image includes the original painting’s monogram and year in the lower right hand corner. The title, artist’s name and print date are handwritten on the back.

Print is unmatted and unframed. Paper size is 11 X 8.5″ (portrait orientation) and would frame nicely behind a 10″ X 8″ mat. The image size is approximately 8.75″ X 5.5″.

This is an archival quality reproduction, printed with Epson UltraChrome pigment inks on Hahnemuhle cotton fine art paper. This beautiful combination produces a lovely print with the look and feel of an original watercolor painting.

The print ships in a protective cellophane packet, inside a hard cardboard mailer.
