Giclee print of my original leaf illustration: American Beech Leaves in Winter
I’ve always thought it was special that the beech tree stubbornly hangs onto some of its leaves all winter long, even though they’re brown and curling. The leaves themselves are so lovely in their simplicity, too, that I think this neutral colored leaf print makes a beautiful piece of minimalist art.
I painted the original watercolor in 2012; this reproduction is an open edition, printed in 2019.
This printed image includes the original painting’s monogram and year in the lower right hand corner. The title, artist’s name and print date are handwritten on the back.
Print is unmatted and unframed. Paper size is 8.5″ X 11″ (landscape orientation) and would frame nicely behind an 8″ X 10″ mat. The image size is approximately 5.75″ X 8″.
This is an archival quality reproduction, printed with Epson UltraChrome pigment inks on Hahnemuhle cotton fine art paper. This beautiful combination produces a lovely print with the look and feel of an original watercolor painting.
The print ships in a protective cellophane packet, inside a hard cardboard mailer.
